Position Summary

The Mascot Performer brings Poopsie to life by creating memorable experiences for fans of all ages at Sky Carp games and community events. This role is responsible for entertaining crowds, engaging with fans, supporting in-game promotions, and representing the Sky Carp brand with energy, creativity, and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform as Poopsie the Mascot at home games, promotional events, and community appearances.
• Entertain fans through interactive skits, dance routines, and crowd engagement throughout the game.
• Participate in on-field promotions, between-inning entertainment, and special theme nights.
• Interact with fans for photos, autographs, and memorable moments while maintaining the mascot’s character at all times.
• Assist with community outreach events including school visits, parades, charity events, and sponsor appearances.
• Work closely with the promotions and game-day staff to execute scripts, cues, and planned entertainment segments.
• Maintain the integrity, personality, and brand image of Poopsie.
• Help care for the mascot costume, ensuring it is clean and in good condition.

Qualifications

• Outgoing personality with strong improvisational and physical comedy skills.
• Ability to perform energetic movements such as dancing, running, and crowd interaction.
• Comfortable performing in costume for extended periods.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the baseball season.
• Experience in performance, theater, cheer, dance, or entertainment preferred but not required.
• Must enjoy working with children, families, and large crowds.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform in a mascot costume for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and move quickly around the stadium environment.
